If you open the Testing Frames within the ProcessLine model, you will detect that both of these objects have had their Source and Drain objects replaced by Interface objects. This is known as inheritance and is fundamental to creating simulation models with Plant Simulation.

The next step will be to connect all the objects within the Frame ProcessLine using the object Connector.

Click the icon of the Connector in the Toolbox.

Connect all the objects, as shown in the screenshot.

Insert an EventController.

We can now to run the simulation in this model using the EventController. You will notice that the Testing frames appear to act as any other object within the model, however, if you open the Testing frames you can view the activities of the parts and Charts within the frames.
